National Teamers Ready to Race Friday and Saturday at FINA Champions Series in Indy

Twenty-three members of the U.S. National Team – including 13 Olympic gold medalists – will compete May 31-June 1 at the FINA Champions Series meet at the Indiana University Natatorium, on the campus of IUPUI in Indianapolis.

The meet in Indy is the third and final stop of the series. The first two meets were held April 27-28 in Guangzhou, China and May 11-12 in Budapest.

FINA invited top athletes from around the world to compete. The format is finals only over the course of two nights, four swimmers per event. For individual races, $10,000 is awarded for first place, $8,000 for second, $6,000 for third and $5,000 for fourth.

The event is open to the public, and tickets are on sale now for as low as $12.
