| Friday, March 3, 2017Mission Statement: The National Team Evaluation Committee shall provide an objective and unbiased review of all National Team and National Junior team travel events, the staff, volunteers, and shall provide input to the National Team Steering Committee and the Board of Directors as to possible ways to improve such events in the future.
Membership: The National Team Evaluation Committee shall consist of the following:
A Chairperson shall be appointed by the National Team Steering Committee to a four-year term at the first meeting of the Committee following the Olympic Games. The Chairperson shall not be an active athlete nor a current member of either the Coaches or Managers list. The Chairperson shall coordinate all meetings of the NTEC, receive and distribute all evaluations and reports, communicate with the National Team office, and make reports and recommendations to the National Team Steering Committee.
Members of the NTEC shall be appointed to a four-year term at the first meeting of the prior to convention following the Olympic Games as follows:
Two members of the committee shall be jointly appointed by the chair of the National Team Steering Committee, National Team Managing Director and National Team Evaluation Committee Chairperson;
One coach shall be appointed by the chair of the National Team Steering Committee;
One athlete shall be appointed by the AEC;
Alternate members may be appointed by either the chair of the National Team Steering Committee or the AEC; and
The National Team Managing Director shall be the staff liaison to the committee.
1. Receive and review all evaluation forms from National Team competitions and camps;
2. Submit a report from evaluations received to the National Team Steering Committee and each member of the competition staff;

3. Make recommendations to the National Team Steering Committee for amendment of the National Team Handbook; and
4. Make recommendations regarding operation of future competitions.
