| Monday, February 6, 2017The mission of the LSC Select Camp program is to provide our members with an exciting camp experience that fosters the love of swimming from the grassroots to the national level.
The objectives of the LSC Select Camp Program are to motivate and educate those swimmers participating in the camp.
- Provide an educational experience for each participating swimmer;
- Create unity throughout the LSC;
- Increase athlete retention by providing them motivation to continue in the sport;
- Provide an opportunity for education, observation, communication and motivation of coaches.
LSCs design and run their own camps with support from USA Swimming. Please review our 2020 LSC Select Camp Administrative Manual for full details on how to plan a camp. Please Note: LSCs must submit an application to host a camp no less than two months in advance of the camp dates. That application can be found here.
If you are a swimmer interested in attending a camp, please reach out to your LSC to find out if there is one offered in your area.
