Over the past few months, USA Swimming has been focused on making numerous bylaw, rule, policy, and operational changes to remain in compliance with the updated USOPC Bylaws and the updated Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act.  While the majority of compliance updates requiring HOD approval were approved during the June 30 Special Meeting, there are still elements of the Rules and Bylaws that require updating.

Therefore, USA Swimming is planning to host a second virtual special meeting of the House of Delegates on September 25, 2021, pursuant to Article 6.2 of the Bylaws.  This special meeting of the House will be limited to the remaining compliance updates requiring HOD approval.  The annual House of Delegates meeting will commence following the special meeting on September 25 with a full agenda.  A written notice will be sent to each member of the House of Delegates at least fifteen days before the special meeting.  Membership of the House of Delegates will be based on membership as of the date of the written notice, pursuant to Article 6.2.3.  Any subsequent changes to membership prior to the September 25, 2021 meeting should be sent to Denise Thomas (denise.thomas@usaswimming.org) by September 20, 2021.
